disposal of plastic waste.
With a management directed towards business sustainability in the economic, social and environmental spheres, Braskem developed in 2007 the first green
plastic, from 100%-renewable sources, in the world.
Being committed to strengthen its operations on behalf of sustainable development, Braskem has disclosed its Manifesto on Climate Change, committing itself
to strengthen its operations on behalf of sustainable development.
During the Formula 1 GP, Braskem, together with its partners, will assemble a complete infrastructure for the trophy’s live and real-time production. A
mini-recycling plant will be assembled at the paddocks and will be operated by experts who will separate and recycle the plastic materials collected during
the three days the event is held. The trophy will be later on awarded to the Brazilian race winner.
